Country music harmonica pioneer Deford bailey was born on this day in 1899.
Bailey was the the house harmonica player for the Grand Old Opry radio
program from it's first broadcast until his dismissal in the early 1940's.
After that he worked as a shoeshine boy in Nashville until his death.

Birthday greetings go out to Mojo Red who was born on this day in 1955. Red
began playing the harmonica at the age of 10 and currently works with the
Jump Start Blues Band in Colorado. Happy Birthday Mojo Red!

That's all I have for today. Have fun and practice.
