Country music harmonica pioneer Deford bailey was born on this day in 1899. Bailey was the the house harmonica player for the Grand Old Opry radio program from it's first broadcast until his dismissal in the early 1940's. Birthday greetings go out to Mojo Red who was born on this day in 1955. Red began playing the harmonica at the age of 10 and currently works with the Jump Start Blues Band in Colorado. Happy Birthday Mojo Red!
