Subject: bending 3-draw, D-harp (beginner)

Working with David Barrett's Chicago Blues harp, with CD--so I'm trying out
D-keyed harp (Big River). Full step bend on 3-draw (the B-note) on D-keyed
harp proving totally impossible. Having difficulty as of late on this type
of 3-draw bend---have finally accepted that 3-draw will be perpetual moose
call. (On key at best, but never sounding smooth).

But cannot even get the moose to come out on D-harp. Is 3-draw only going
to be successful on key of C or lower? Or is it me?

I think I can guess what the answer is going to be....would appreciate any
advice.

P.S. Thank you to G for setting up archives on Yahoo! Has been a huge
help!
