Country singer-songwriter, guitar and harmonica player Clyde "Skeets" Yaney was born on this day in 1912. Yaney began playing professionally after winning a talent contest at the age of six. He would go on to record dozens of records until his retirement from music in the 1970's. Blues saxophone and harmonica player Steamin' Stan Ruffo was born on this day in 1951. Ruffo has played the saxophone since his teens and picked up the harmonica at 28. He's recorded a couple of albums of his own as well as appearing on albums by other Blues artists.
