Bluegrass singer-songwriter, mandolin and harmonica player Earl Taylor was born on this day in 1929. Taylor began playing the harmonica at the age of twelve and was a part of the Stoney Mountain Boys, the first Bluegrass group to play at Carnegie Hall.
